We are constantly receiving more and more news from the Ukraine from people who are in dire need of food, sanitary articles, medicine and other supplies for their daily use.
Many are fleeing to less embattled regions in the country. Since March 3, we have started a “humanitarian corridor” along with other relief organisations and private initiatives. Thanks to our infrastructure, we are able to deliver your donations to Western Ukraine in one day. Thanks to long-standing relationships, the support from the government as well as local relief organisations, we can travel to over 2000 storage facilities across the Ukraine in the shortest amount of time. We will need to make sure that the right donations reach the right people where needed.
Many people and organisations are currently asking how they can practically help people. We feel privileged to provide the opportunity for you to support people, who really need your help quickly and directly.
We NOW have the possibility to provide people, churches and organisations in the Ukraine with the most important relief aid and donation items through our central warehouse in the Ukraine.
Since we want to help as many people as possible in the Ukraine and we can’t do this alone, we rely on your help. Be part of a Europe-wide team and help the people in the Ukraine.
This is how the practical help looks in 4 steps:
Start collecting donation items in the next 2-3 days at a place of your choice. It would be most practical, depending on the amount of donations collected, to have a garage or storage unit (with a loading dock). Even better would be a possibility for cars to load off at your spot directly.
In order to get your donations across the border to our central warehouse quickly and effectively, it’s important that you pack your truck correctly. The better your boxes are packed, the faster and easier is our targeted distribution in the Ukraine.
PACKING LIST: Please note that specific things are needed, which is why it is important to stick to the packing list and not add items not listed in the packing list.
There are 4 product categories, which each include a variety of products (see detailed packing list):
It’s very important that you do not mix the different categories as well as the items within each category. For example just pack pasta in one box and rice in another box. Please label every box on the outside, writing what is on the inside. That way we can ensure a smooth process at the border and the donations will effectively reach people, churches and organisations in the Ukraine, hence a sustainable distribution.
As soon as you’ve collected all your donation items, load them onto your truck or van. Please be sure to load everything correctly. Secure the boxes well for transport, wrap the products you pile on pallets with foil. Please do not mix different product categories on one pallet. Use 1 product category per pallet.
The first and easiest step in the delivery process is our central European warehouse in Poland (between Wroclaw and Krakow). Due to the war, insurances are currently revoking their polices for foreign vehicles in the Ukraine, so German shipping and forwarding companies cannot drive into the Ukraine at the moment.
As soon as your truck arrives at our central warehouse in Poland, Ukrainian Trucks will pick up the donations and deliver them to the Ukraine. Since the situation can change at any moment, we will stay flexibel and keep you updated.
